Každý web by měl obsahovat kvůli rychlejší indexaci soubor sitemap.xml, vložený nejlépe v rootu. Schéma naleznete zde.

Důležité je nastavení priorit, přičemž jediná HP by měla mít priority 1, zbytek méně až do 0.1. Názory se sice liší, ale toto je standardizovaný názor.
